I advise a wide range of statutory, voluntary, educational and professional bodies on press, publicity, publications and communications. My experience working for national newspapers, combined with my knowledge of health and social services, make me well placed to do so.

I provide organisations with a unique perspective. I know what gets things noticed and what helps people absorb messages. But I'm also sympathetic to some of the difficulties organisations face. I help them find ways to communicate which suits them on all fronts. Sometimes this involves taking a different angle on a problem.

I've also conducted communications and media training for many organisations and patient groups, including ESMO patient advocates, European School of Oncology, Melanoma Patient Network Europe, Greenpeace, the College of Social Work, London Gypsies and Travellers and the London Deanery for medical training.

I've conducted complete communications reviews, involving rebranding and website development, for the organisations Europa Uomo (the prostate patients' European coalition), London Gypsies and Travellers and the World Confederation for Physical Therapy.

I continue to provide regular communications input to Europa Uomo and London Gypsies and Travellers

Other organisations I've worked with include:

  • European Society for Medical Oncology

  • Sarcoma Patients Euronet

  • Dying Matters Coalition

  • The Medicines Information Project

  • The National Council for Palliative Care

  • Datapharm
