Charity publications - editing

I started off my journalistic career working for a voluntary organisation. My first job was as Assistant Editor of the newspaper Disability Now, published by what was then The Spastics Society (thankfully now named Scope).

Ever since then, I've made sure I worked with voluntary organisations, editing their publications as well as writing for them and providing editorial advice. They provide me with a constant and invaluable insight into what really matters in health writing - the feelings and welfare of people.

On the right are a list of the voluntary organisations I've edited publications for in the past two decades.
